Educational Qualifications:
Chairman: The applicant shall either be a retired judge of the High Court or a retired or serving officer the rank of chief secretary to the state government or secretary to the government of India.
Members: The applicant should be a law graduate with 15-years of experience of practicing in High Court or the supreme court of India in Tax matters.
Note: The Chairman or a Member of the Tribunal shall hold office for a term of 03-years from the date he assumes charge of his office and he shall not be eligible for re-appointment.
Age Limit:
The candidates should not have attained the age of 67 years.
Selection Process:
On the basis of interview.
Salary:
As per the department rules.
